The
mission of the VFW is "To foster camaraderie among United States veterans of
overseas conflicts. To serve our veterans, the military and our communities. To
advocate on behalf of all veterans.” With more than 1.6 million VFW and
Auxiliary members in over 6,000 Posts around the world, the VFW works daily to
realize its mission. However, in order to support this mission, the VFW require
donates from its members and from the public. Below are programs that seek

This is
the lynchpin program of the VFW. Our Service Officers work directly with
veterans to get them the benefits that have earned through their service to our

The Buddy
Poppy program is the frequent distribution of the artificial poppy flowers
given at different locations throughout the state by our members and the auxiliary. Donations from the distribution go only to
veterans and their families.
